      Berkley, MA

      The town of Berkley was first settled in 1638 as a part of Taunton and Dighton and was officially incorporated as a separate town in 1735. It has a total land area of 16.4 square miles with an estimated population of 6,411. Berkley is located along Routes 24 and 79 and also offers access to Route 140.
