      The town of Lakeville, MA was incorporated in 1853 and has a total land area of 29.2 square miles. The population is estimated to be 10,602. Residents have access to MBTA Commuter Rail service out of the Middleboro/Lakeville station. Lakeville consists of mainly single family homes and is considered a small town and picturesque community.
